Kirkland Inpatient - What to Bring to Treatment
(Adults Only)
Bring enough clothing for approximately one week.
We provide laundry facilities, laundry soap, and an iron and ironing
board.
Personal Items to
Bring
|
|
Jeans or slacks, comfortable clothing that you normally
would wear around the home or in public. Jacket or coat, robe,
slippers, nightgown or pajamas, sweatshirt, pants or clothing
suitable for recreation.
|
|
|
Toilet articles, hair dryer, curling iron, etc., if you use
them. Shampoo, cream rinse, toothbrush, and toothpaste. We
provide liquid soap in rooms and shower.
|
|
|
Watch or non-radio alarm clock.
|
|
|
Stationary or letter writing materials and stamps.
|
|
|
Please bring any prescription medication you are currently
taking. They are to be assessed by our physician and yours.
|
|
|
Patients are allowed $10.00 on each person. Any extra funds are
kept in patient cash accounts until withdrawn. Cash would be
for: pop, newspapers, cigarettes, outside meetings, and pay
phones.
|
|
|
Quarters for laundry facilities, pay phones,
caffeine-free/sugar-free soda and bottled water. Laundry
detergent is provided, but you are free to bring your own if you
wish.

Optional
|
|
Your own pillow, bedspread, and/or comforter.
|
|
|
Desk pictures.
|
|
|
Cigarettes if you smoke and matches or lighters. No chewing
tobacco is allowed.
|
Do Not Bring
|
|
Walkmans, boom boxes, or other stereo devices, cell phones, and
pagers.
|
|
|
Musical instruments.
|
|
|
Any food, candy, gum, or over the counter medications.
|
|
|
Vitamins will be provided as part of the treatment program, so
leave yours at home.
|
|
|
Bar or alcohol related T-shirts, heavy metal or rock T-shirts,
tank tops, shorts-no shorter than mid-thigh, lewd or sexually
inappropriate clothing.

|
|
Leave expensive or excessive jewelry at home. LMRC will not be
responsible for loss of expensive jewelry or clothing, such as
leather jackets.

|
|
Bar soap.
|
